Category System for the CSR-pedia Program DirectoryProgram RegionThe program region category uses the United Nations Standard Country and Area Codes Classifications system as a model for its hierarchy. This category initially divides into: Africa, Asia, Europe, Northern America, Latin American, Caribbean, Oceania, and Antarctica. Within each region are subregions, and countries. To locate CSR programs in a particular country, follow through the region, to the subregion, and then to the country itself. Within, you will find a list of social responsibility programs in that country. Program TypeThese categories reflect the organizational system of the United Nations Development Agenda (pdf), Global Issues on the UN Agenda, and United Nations Global Compact To ensure that our CSR-pedia Program Directory is both accurate and comprehensive, we have included additional types of social responsibility programs in which companies engage. To locate programs by topic, select a program type, and you will be directed to a list of the relevant programs. Program StakeholdersThe stakeholder categories include group types listed in the UN Global Compact and are sorted into four main categories: Countries and Communities, Governments, Individuals, and Organizations.
