“Corn for Student Lunch” program, a CSR Program by DuPont

Pioneer, a DuPont Company which manufactures hybrid corn seeds, has created this Thailand Nutrition Program for Primary Schools. Implemented in 2003, this initiative addresses the lack of nutritional foods in children’s lunches. Any proceeds from the corn yield go directly to involved schools for more nutritional lunches. Pioneer donates its seeds as well as time to work with farmers on harvesting the corn crop. Cultivators also gain more experience with both seed technology and other practices in this industry.
