$2 Drive, a CSR Program by American Federation of Musicians

The American Federation of Musicians has a $2 Drive for The AFM Legislative Action Fund (TEMPO). The goal is to raise $2 from every U.S. member of AFM, as it is critical to ensuring AFM will continue to fight for musicians on Capitol Hill.

These advocates fight for issues that affect musicians, from health care reform to copyright protection. The long-term success of AFM’s legislative efforts depends on making sure that these allies remain in office.

Some of the issues include reforming the health care system to ensure that all Americans have access to the most advanced medicine in the world, working to reform the pension system for musicians and advocating for more funding for the National Endowment for the Arts and arts-in-education programs.
