AISO Water Fueled Services, a CSR Program by Affordable Internet Services Online, Inc.
AISO air conditioning systems use wind to create cooling, known as evaporative cooling. The conditioning systems use this process as water is evaporated into air in one chamber and cools air flowing in an adjacent chamber. The cold air is used for cooling while water vapor is released outside to be renewed by the atmosphere.
Further, the process eliminates the need for refrigerants by using rainwater collected off buildings. This water is then used to cool outside air, and the air is then pushed into the data center and office. This uses 90% less electricity. The use of water instead of electricity for cooling has zero water impact.
AISO's rainwater collection system uses the rainwater collected for the air conditioning systems for cooling and to eventually water the company's green roof. The excess water from watering the green roof is also used by the rainwater collection system. The system also eliminates the need for city water by using the rainwater collected off the company's building. This allows 100% of water usage to come from the environment.
AISO is also in the process of building a green roof to cool the data center and office in reducing temperatures by 20 degrees or more.
