AkzoNobel Community Program, a CSR Program by AkzoNobel

Althought AkzoNobel is a global corporation, it still recognizes the importance of local communities, along with its customers, employees and stakeholders.
To encourage AkzoNobel employees to get involved in their communities, AkzoNobel created its worldwide AkzoNobel Community Program, which provides AkzoNobel employees the opportunity to get involved in their communities and gives them the means to do it.
"So far more than 4,000 volunteers from 48 countries have worked on more than 800 projects."
AkzoNobel also holds a "Project of the Month" and "Project of the Year" competition to recognize and honor outstanding projects within the Community Program.
