AT&T Pioneers, a CSR Program by AT&T

AT&T Pioneers is made up of AT&T employees and retirees. The Pioneers have partnered with many organizations to meet the needs of their communities. They have most recently worked with Share Our Strength to address the issue of childhood hunger in America. The Pioneers also worked with Hurricane Katrina victims by helping them set up voice mailboxes and providing them with access to phone banks in order to connect with loved ones. Through Project: Connect, the AT&T Pioneers have donated online video games to teachers to help students learn to work with new technologies like e-mail, fiber optics, cable, satellite and cellular phones. AT&T Pioneers, in working with the Freedom Calls Foundation and AT&T, connected hundreds of troops in Iraq with their family members via a video online chat session. The Pioneers packaged and sent more than 5,000 care packages and provided free calling cards to the troops.
