Bag2Bag, a CSR Program by Kroger

Through Kroger’s Plastic Recycling Program, plastic bags, dry-cleaning bags, and plastic shrink-wrap can now be recycled in all Kroger stores. Plastic bags are collected and recycled into other products such as plastic
landscape bricks, plastic lumber and other plastic bags. This program resulted in 9.1 million pounds of plastic recycled from all stores and distribution centers last year. In 2008, Kroger expects that number to grow to 12 million pounds.
