Committment to Solar Energy, a CSR Program by Applied Materials Inc.

Applied Materials plans to install solar energy to its Sunnyvale, California office. This will be the largest non-retail commercial facility with solar energy.
The solar energy will be non-polluting, power plant on the roof and parking areas. The company is doing this because of their committment to renewable energy sources. This is being done in order to reduce the overall solar cost per watt and to hopefully start solar adoption within the United States.
