Fighting Global Warming: The Green NTT Initiative, a CSR Program by Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation

The Green NTT initiative seeks to reduce CO2 emissions within the NTT Group by implementing usage of solar and other renewable energy sources. The initiative seeks to furnish communications facilities, data centers, office buildings of NTT laboratories and Group companies with solar energy technology that will supply a total of 5 MW of solar energy capacity by fiscal 2013. In addition, Nippon Telegraph & Telephone – Green LLP will form a limited liability partnership committed to promoting the implementation of solar power system within and outside of the NTT Group.
