From One Mother to Another, a CSR Program by Johnson & Johnson Services, Inc.

"In 2001, Dr. Mitch Besser founded the organization mothers2mothers (m2m) in Cape Town, South Africa, after recognizing a need to educate and assist women who were struggling to cope with the devastation of an HIV diagnosis.Our partnership with m2m began in 2005 with the establishment of two sites in East London, headquarters for Johnson & Johnson South Africa. Over the last three years, the partnership has expanded to 16 sites across East London, Port Elizabeth, and Retreat, providing services to more than 7,400 pregnant women. Together we work to reduce the number of babies born with HIV, help HIV-positive women access medical care, and empower mothers to battle the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS."
