Gearing Up Internet Literacy and Access for Students, a CSR Program by Ayala Corporation

Gearing Up Internet Literacy and Access for Students is an initiative to bring internet access to students attending lower income public high schools in the Philippines. The program is composed of non-profits and corporations with interest in bringing the free information of the internet into the classroom.

Many public schools in the Philippines are without internet access, leaving a glaring gap in the digital education of high school students. Since its inception, GILAS has connected thousands of schools to the internet, helping give students a chance to receive a college education.
