Green Energy for Schools, a CSR Program by Co-operative Group Limited

The Green Energy for Schools program promotes renewable energy sources for schools through the use of solar panels. One hundred schools in the United Kingdom benefit from this program, which fits schools with £20,000 worth of solar technology. The program’s funding is matched by the government’s Low Carbon Buildings Programme and co-managed with Solarcentury –a UK renewable energy company.
