The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. offers a multitude of programs designed to better balance work/life relations among its employees. Some of these include child care – including sick care, discounted before and after school care and holiday and summer care; back-up dependent care; eldercare case management; an extensive suite of higher education planning tools and resources to continue education; and maternity, adoption and paternity leave—including a paternity leave policy that allows new dads three paid weeks of leave. Employees also have web access to information, news and articles concerning relationships, health and wellness, workplace issues, depression and other illnesses.
