Reducing Waste: Cogeneration, a CSR Program by Baxter International Inc.

Baxter International facilities in Istanbul, Turkey, and Sabiñánigo, Spain reduce waste through the use of cogeneration units, which capture heat produced from the power generation process to use it in other areas of production. In doing so, efficiency is increased, greenhouse gas emissions are reduced buy as much as 30 percent and the cost of electricity is reduced by 20-50 percent.
