Reproductive Health/HIV-AIDS Programme with Marie Stopes International in Vietnam, a CSR Program by adidas-Salomon Group

In 2003, adidas partnered with Marie Stopes International, an international health care provider. After doing research at the company's supplier factories in Vietnam in 2004, a project to address sexual and reproductive health of the company's workers was developed. In 2005, a permanent reproductive health clinic to serve workers and the surrounding community was established. Since 2005, a traveling team has been going to the factories to provide training, clinic staff, basic reproductive clinical services, distribute information and education materials and train volunteers for peer groups.

In 2007, the permanent community clinic and mobile clinic expanded and are operating at full capacity. Workers at adidas Group supplier factories and the general community are taking advantage of the services.
