Science Club for Girls, a CSR Program by Genzyme Corporation

Genzyme is a sponsor for the Cambridge Science Club for Girls. This is an after school program that began in 1994 for middle school and high school girls who are considered at-risk. The club's goal is to promote science education and self confidence. Genzyme and the girl's club worked together to create a bottle recycling program that is now implemented at Genzyme's headquarters.
Every year, a team leader is given a paid internship. Genzyme encourages its employees to be mentors, leaders and advisors for the club.
