Science Fair Award, a CSR Program by Genzyme Corporation

Genzyme created the Genzyme Science Award that is given to a student who is hand selected by a panel from the Massachusettes State Fair. The award was created in 1999, and gives the winner $5,000 and a paid internship at Genzyme. The sponsoring teacher of that student is also awared $5,000 to use for independent research along with $5,000 to the school that the student attends in order to purchase science related materials.
