Step With It, Singapore, a CSR Program by The Coca-Cola Company

"Since August 2003, more than 203,000 students, teachers, health workers and others in Singapore have benefited from Step With It, a healthy active lifestyle program that motivates children, youths and adults to engage in physical activity regularly through a sustained school program. Coca-Cola Singapore contributed over SG$ 700,000 for stepometers (pedometers), materials and tools, public education campaigns and program coordination. The program was supported by The Ministries of Health and Education, Changi General Hospital and the Singapore Physical Education Association. As a result of the program, student activity levels have increased by over 50 percent in and out of school.
Step With It®, Singapore! is an award-winning community programme by Coca-Cola Singapore. It was established in 2003 to support government objectives of building a healthier nation. Developed in conjunction with medical professionals, this programme aims to guide students through a sustained physical activity programme with nutrition education to inculcate good lifestyle habits!"
