The United Way Campaign, a CSR Program by Kimberly-Clark Corporation

Through campaigning efforts, Kimberly-Clark and its employees seek to raise money in support of the United Way. The money raised by these efforts is used to assist local United Way-funded organizations. For the past 30 years, Kimberly-Clark has donated tens of millions of dollars to various United Way chapters across the country.
In 2008, Kimberly-Clark’s communications team joined local campaign coordinators to create a new fund-raising program. Throughout 2008 campaign, the Kimberly-Clark Foundation matched employees’ donations of $2.6 million, while plants and mills held community fund-raising events that raised $375,000. In all, $5.5 million was raised on behalf of the United Way.
