Unlocking the Green Maize Market Potential in East Africa, a CSR Program by DuPont

Pioneer, a DuPont Company which manufactures agricultural seeds such as hybrid corn, has worked with TechnoServe, a nonprofit organization specializing in rural poverty business solutions. Many farmers dedicate their land to producing maize, a staple food in East Africa. The goal of this initiative is to increase the production of green maize which sells at a higher price. In effect, it would enable farmers to increase profitability and spread the benefits to this alternative.
