Work and Life Balance in Japan, a CSR Program by T&D Holdings, Inc.

T&D holdings actively take good care of their employees. The company promotes healthy lifestyles for employees. The building lights automatically turn off at 9 p.m. to prevent employees from work related stress. T&D Holdings also promoted paid vacation days for employee anniversaries. The company wants employees to feel connected to work and family at the same time.

There is also a childcare leave support system in place. Employees expecting a child learn about the birthing process and how to raise a child. At T&D Holdings, males are strongly encouraged to take a childcare leave. This helps start an initial bond between mother, father and child. While on a childcare leave, employees are regularly updated about company news. The weekly messages help employees stay informed and in touch with their company.
