Zero Wastewater, a CSR Program by Aggregate Industries, Inc.

Aggregate Industries is investing in making signicant changes and upgrades to its sites so that it can move towards zero wastewater. Initial improvements included covering storage bins, reorganizing the site's layout, and introduction of an anhydrite facility to apply self-leveling concrete. This program ensures that water used in the process of concrete leveling will not be mixed with other water and can be reused. Rainfall is also collected in a wedge pit so that no dirty water or waste materials leave the site. The Zero Wastewater campaign is just the first of many environmental responsibilities in which Aggregate Industries is investing.
